ICCP Anodes

An impressed current anode uses a "rectifier" external power source to develop a high potential difference between the surface to be protected and anode.

Usually the anodes used are made of graphite, cast iron, titanium alloys, silicon iron and clad metals of platinum-niobium. There are impressed current anodes in many sizes and shapes, such as wires, rods, pipes, plates and sticks.
