ICCP(Impressed Current Cathodic Protection)
In contrast to power stations with both small and large pipes, in refineries there are many small pipelines for e.g. firefighting water, wastewater, products, and much more.
Refineries often encounter corrosion problems both above and below ground. Below ground, regular cathodic protection will usually cover the need. (if isolation is possible). Above ground, coating specific solutions are more common alongside with non-organic compounds.
