ICCP(Impressed Current Cathodic Protection)
Cooling water pipes/channels are essential for the operation of power stations and must not cease to function. Pipelines for firefighting are also important for safety reasons. These are examples of applications in powerplants where corrosion is not allowed.
Application areas:
Pipes in powerplants are often very well coated, however there is a need for cathodic protection in areas, where damage to the coating will occur and thereby favor conditions for corrosion.
