STOPAQ® Corrosion Protection Wrap

STOPAQ® Wrapping Band is a range of corrosion-protective, self-adhesive tapes with exceptional adhesion to steel and various surface coatings (PE, liquid epoxy, and FBE). STOPAQ® is used on steel structures above ground, underground, and underwater, such as weld joints, flanges, and gaps where there is a risk of corrosion. The tapes can be applied cold and are available in different grades depending on the specific conditions. The bands are viscoelastic, meaning they "self-heal" if a sharp object is pressed into the material. STOPAQ Wrapping Band is often used in combination with STOPAQ® Outerwrap, a UV-resistant PVC tape with high impact and abrasion resistance, as well as resistance to alkalis and acids.
