Can withstand 1 bar (14.5 psi) of groundwater pressure

STOPAQ® 2100 AQUASTOP creates an effective barrier against water, with durability of up to 1 bar. This makes it ideal for use in areas with high groundwater pressure, protecting against infiltration and subsequent damage.

Permanently flexible

The building was constructed within three meters of the Grand Union Canal, resulting in a groundwater level just 500mm below ground level. During construction, four sumps were created to continuously pump water out of the excavation and keep the worksite sufficiently dry. The contractor had 34 channels and service penetrations in the basement walls that needed to be sealed before the pumps could be removed and the groundwater level allowed to return to its natural state.
